How to walk as the Dutch did One fateful night in Oakland, [[Anja Kong|Anja]] was feeling tired and wanted some dessert. [[Neelima Gadagottu|Neeli]] and I offered to go get some, and [[Eric Noordam|Eric]] decided to tag along. Now that the homebodies had headed home, we struck a deal with Eric the Dutchman - on the way down and back to dessert, we would stop and have a drink at each spot we saw. Eric agreed, and with this heading, we were off. We first headed towards the downtown location of [[Colonial Donuts]] but alas! It was closed. Then we decided to readjust our plans. [[Shooting Star Cafe]] looked promising - and they had egg tarts - little waffles cones with egg shaped pockets. On the inaugrual Dutch Walk we went to [[Cafe Van Kleef]] and got greyhounds, we went to two other spots who's names elude me. But a tradition was born. Any time you're ready to explore a new city, or you're ready to head home, we walk as the Dutch did that fateful night in Oakland.
